Dubai sits in one of the hottest climates in the world and tint is a genuine necessity here, but the rules are still fairly conservative at 70% front side and 50% minimum on all other windows. No reflective or mirrored films are permitted on any window, which limits your film options to standard non-reflective products. Getting the job done correctly matters since vehicle inspections are taken seriously and non-compliance results in immediate black points.

Your car's factory glass already blocks some light (usually around 70-80% VLT). When you add tint film, the combined VLT is lower than the film alone. For example, 35% film on 75% factory glass gives you about 26% combined VLT. The calculator above does this math for you.
