On most Acura models, the paint code is on the driver's door jamb on a small plate or label. On the MDX and RDX, it's right on the jamb when you open the driver's door. On the TLX and Integra, it's in the same area. Look for a code that starts with NH, B, R, YR, or G followed by a dash and numbers.
Acura is Honda's luxury brand and uses the exact same paint code system. Codes follow the prefix-number-suffix format: NH-883P (Platinum White Pearl), B-607P (Apex Blue Pearl), or R-580M (Radiant Red Metallic). The prefix tells you the color family and the suffix tells you the finish.
The prefix system is the same as Honda: NH for neutrals (black, gray, silver, white), YR for warm tones (gold, beige), B for blue, R for red, G for green. P at the end means pearl, M means metallic, and no suffix means solid.
Not every Acura puts the code in the same spot. Here's where to look for each model:

Exactly the same. Both use the prefix-number-suffix format. NH-883P (Platinum White Pearl) is the same formula on an Acura MDX and a Honda Pilot. Any paint supplier can match either brand with the same code.
Driver's door jamb. Open the door and look for a label with a code that starts with letters like NH, B, or R followed by a dash and numbers. It's separate from the main VIN sticker.
NH means neutral color family (blacks, silvers, whites). 883 is the specific color identifier. P means pearl finish. Put together, NH-883P is Platinum White Pearl.
Yes. Acura offers colors like Apex Blue Pearl (B-607P) and Tiger Eye Pearl that aren't available on Honda models. But they still use the same code format and can be matched by any supplier that carries Honda paint codes.
