On the Escalade, check inside the glove box or on the driver's door jamb for the service parts identification sticker. On the CT4, CT5, XT4, and XT5, the sticker is usually on the driver's door jamb. On the Lyriq, it's in the same door jamb area. Look for the row labeled "U" to find your code.
Cadillac is a General Motors brand, so it uses the same WA paint code system as Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick. Codes appear next to "U" on the service parts identification sticker. You'll see codes like GBA (Onyx Black), G1W (White Frost Tricoat), or WA926D (Midnight Sky Metallic).
Cadillac is known for premium tri-coat and multi-layer finishes. Colors like White Frost Tricoat and Infrared Tintcoat involve multiple layers of paint and clear coat. These colors use the same code format, but the touch-up process is more involved since you can't replicate a tri-coat with a single-layer pen. For anything beyond a small chip, a body shop is the better option.
Not every Cadillac puts the code in the same spot. Here's where to look for each model:

Check inside the glove box for the service parts identification sticker. Look for the row labeled "U" for your paint code. On some Escalade model years, the sticker is on the driver's door jamb instead.
Tri-coat means the color uses three layers: a base coat, a translucent color coat, and a clear coat. Colors like White Frost Tricoat and Red Obsession Tintcoat are tri-coat finishes. They're deeper and more vibrant than standard paints but harder to touch up at home.
Yes. Both use the GM WA system. If a code like GBA (Onyx Black) appears on both a Cadillac and a Chevy, it's the same formula. But Cadillac has exclusive premium colors that don't appear on other GM brands.
Yes. The Lyriq is an EV but it uses the same GM paint code system as every other Cadillac. Same sticker, same code format, same U/L labels.
